The school has the ability to very easily collect rainwater off all the school building roofs & car parks. Whilst this was being captured there was only a limited amount that was being retained. Over recent times extensive investment had been put into landscaping around the entire school site. The capturing of additional water could easily be redirected into the recently installed irrigation systems that were part of the recent landscaping improvements. They also have future plans to install a watering system to service the school oval and improve the actual playing surface of the entire area.
Ideal location was beside the existing tank. Before this could begin machinery was required to remove overgrown bushes and the appropriate size pad prepared. 30,000g tank was installed alongside existing. Additional plumbing was required to connect into the current set up. Because of the location within the school grounds an additional safety feature of a ladder guard was also requested. The entire project from site preparation through to ladder guard installation was carried out by the GNT team all outside of school hours.
From the very first point of contact the response from Great Northern Tanks was efficient and professional. The job involved a little more that a straight forward install only so the engagement of other trades was required. This was all organized and carried out using local trades thus generating more business within our local community. Because of the location within the school grounds access was limited to after hours, this was respected and no issues were encounted.
The fact that the GNT team took hold of the complete project from initial enquiry through to completion and 1 total payment on completion made the process very straight forward & simple worked extremely well from the school’s perspective. We are very happy with the completed project.
